She sang the song, ‘I Fell In Love with the DJ’ if anyone remembers. She also produced the same song in Malay with the title ‘DJ Yang Kau Puja”. She’s internationally known as Che’Nelle but her birth name is Cheryline Lim. She was born to a Bornean-born Chinese father and a mother of a mixed Indian and Dutch heritage. Born in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia, Lim and her family moved to Australia when she was 10 years old.
I guess some Malaysians will disagree about us being polite and stuff. But it’s actually true. I tend to be nicer to foreigners than Malaysians. Can’t believe I just confessed that, but hey gotta face the truth someday.
